Pillow Returns
Modern Basics’ pillows are made to order and therefore considered a custom item. Custom Order Policy: No Changes, No Cancellations, No Returns and No Refunds. Please make your choices when purchasing pillows very carefully and cautiously, as it is not our policy to stock these items and makes it impossible for Modern Basics to store and resell rejected custom items to other customers.
Crib Bedding Returns
Crib bedding and sheets can only be returned if they have not been opened. Any sets that have been opened will not be accepted.
Please contact Modern Basics to receive a return authorization and the return address. The item MUST be returned to Modern Basics within 14 days of the shipping date in its original unused condition. Returns which arrive after 14 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Returns after 30 days will not be accepted.
Fabric By The Yard Returns
Fabric by the yard is a custom cut and therefor cannot be returned.
All Other Returns
We will be glad to refund your money for any item that you are not completely happy with. You must contact Modern Basics to receive a return authorization and the return address. The item MUST be returned to Modern Basics within 14 days of the shipping date in its original unused condition. Returns which arrive after 14 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Returns after 30 days will not be accepted.
If you bought Modern Basics’ merchandise from a retail or online store that sells Modern Basics products, you must return the merchandise directly to them. No unauthorized returns will be accepted or refunded. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted or refunded; they will be refused upon attempted delivery and returned to you.
If your item is incorrect or damaged in any way, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to correct the problem.

Shipping
Please allow 5 business days for your order to be shipped. Please note we cannot ship to P.O Boxes. Shipping/Handling charges include delivery charges as well as the secure packaging of each item. Shipping charges are determined by your total purchased. US Priority Mail or Ground shipping is free on orders over $200 (Except when ordering Moses Baskets. A minimum $20.00 shipping charge is added for Ground shipments of Moses Baskets). Orders under $50 will be shipped via US Priority Mail unless 2-Day or Overnight services are selected.

Wholesale
We are always looking for new stores that want to add simple contemporary furnishings. If you are interested in adding the Modern Basics' line to your store, please review our wholesale terms and conditions below and contact us to obtain a wholesale price list.
Wholesale Terms and Conditions:
Wholesale account must have a valid tax identification number.
Minimum Orders - First time orders have a $200 minimum and all subsequent orders have a $100 minimum.
Payment- First time orders must be pre-paid with credit card or proforma check. We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard. Upon credit approval, orders are invoiced at the time of delivery and payment is due within 30 days.
Past Due Invoices- A Finance charge of 1 1/2% per month (18% per annum) will be added to all past due invoices.
Shipping and Handling - Charges will be included on final invoices.
Delivery - Orders received outside of trade shows are delivered within 2-3 weeks. Reorders are delivered in 1-2 weeks.
Fabric Swatches
You may view our fabric options online to get an idea of fabric color and texture. However, colors vary on each monitor and Modern Basics cannot be responsible for colors that look differently in person. Modern Basics can provide small cuttings of our fabrics. E-mail us to request fabric swatches. Please limit your request to three swatches.
